Data Collection
PackMyTabs collects no data. We do not track you, store your information, or collect analytics.
How It Works
When you create a share link, your tab URLs are compressed and encoded directly into the link itself. This happens entirely in your browser. The URLs never leave your device and are never sent to any server.
When someone opens a share link, the URLs are decoded directly in their browser. Again, no data is transmitted to or stored on any server.
No Backend
PackMyTabs has no backend infrastructure. There are no databases, no servers processing your data, and no accounts to create.
Third-Party Services
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard web server logs as part of their hosting service. We do not have access to or control over this data.
The extension uses Chrome's built-in APIs to access your tabs. This data stays on your device and is only used to generate share links.
Local Storage
PackMyTabs stores your theme preference (light, dark, or matrix) in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device.
Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update this page. The current version will always be available at this URL.
